When I was 16 years old I felt sad, anxious and weak. A lingering dullness filled close to every day of my life. I tried to distract myself with instant gratification—hours spent on social media, pornography and junk food probably caused massive damage to my brain.
While I had a group of friends I regularly felt lonely and misunderstood. In school I was barely able to raise my hand in class because of social anxiety. On weekends I’d usually wait until someone invited me to a party at which I would get black out drunk to gather the confidence to speak with girls.
In essence: I was wasting my life.
The change for me came when I discovered the concept of holistic self-improvement. The idea of leveling up every aspect of my life seemed intriguing. I didn’t take action immediately, but a seed had been planted in my mind. Deep down I knew that I was destined for more.
It still took me years and hundreds of hours spent watching self-help videos to make a lasting change. In this blog I want to share the advice that has ACTUALLY helped me and cut out all the BS.
Now, I’m nowhere close to where I want to be. Some might still say I'm a loser, but I’m proud of my transformation and it's my purpose to help young men who find themselves in similar situations.
