It’s Sunday.
And here’s what this means:
Every Sunday from now on, I’m going to share some of the lessons/cool things I’ve learned this past week.
This could be related to marketing, business, self-development, or whatever else I’m obsessed with at the moment.
And just a cautionary disclaimer:
Take everything I say with a grain of salt.
None of this is “prescriptive” or “set in stone” – this is just what’s worked for me/what I’m fascinated by at the moment. Think for yourself and figure out if what I’m saying applies to your situation. We’re all unique after all.
Anyways…
This week I’ve been obsessed with questions.
So I thought of some interesting questions I could ask myself yesterday.
I came up with 151 questions.
To spare you from the bullshit like “What the fuck am I going to eat later on?!?!” I’ve extracted just 12 questions you can ask yourself to improve your life RIGHT NOW.
Enjoy!
1. What piece of advice would I give to myself right now?
2. What difficult thing can I do right now that will make me feel better later?
3. What is one thing I’ve always wanted to do that I’ve been too “busy” to take action on? How can I do that thing ASAP?
4. Who deserves a hug from me?
5. What’s the biggest waste of time and energy in my life right now and how can I get rid of it?
6. What am I most afraid of? Why?
7. Which pain am I avoiding and what are the consequences of that avoidance? How can I face the pain head-on?
8. Do I really want the things I think I want… or do I just chase them to get validation from others?
9. Who do I feel called to help in life? How can I be a better leader to them?
10. Who do I enjoy spending time with? How can I spend more time with them?
11. What is the thing I miss most in my life right now? Is this something I can work on? Or should I just let it go?
12. What is the thing I’m most grateful for?
And on that note…
I’m grateful that you’ve read this far. I hope you found some value in this.
See, It’s easy to get stuck in the day-to-day grind; there are always things to work on, fires to put out, and demands to be met.
But we often forget to ask the big questions.
The ones that give our life meaning and purpose.
I highly recommend you take some time out of your day to think about these (or other interesting) questions. I promise it won’t be wasted.
Reply with any suggestions/feedback/questions (😉). I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reading,
